Anita C. Savage is a
collaboratively trained attorney as well as a seasoned
litigator. She has practiced law since
1996.
Since being admitted to practice law,
Anita's practice has focused on general civil litigation and
alternative dispute resolution.
She was an associate with the law firm of Moyer, Beal and Vranesic from 1997 through 2000, when she joined
Ruegsegger
Thomas, a workers' compensation defense firm. In 2002,
Anita began her own law practice, continuing her emphasis on
civil litigation. Since 2004, she has been practicing
exclusively in the area of family law.
Anita represents clients in both collaborative and traditional divorce cases,
and is a professionally trained mediator.
Anita is admitted to practice law
in Texas, Colorado and Georgia. She is also a member of the
Dallas Bar Association, Texas Bar Association, Colorado Bar
Association and Denver Bar Association. Anita is an active runner, skier and reader and
is an enthusiastic mother and cook.Anita received her Bachelor of Arts in
Criminal Justice from the University of Toronto.
Anita
was awarded her Juris Doctor from Georgia State University College of
Law. During law school, Anita was a member of her
schools' Dean's List as well as the National Dean's List.
She was President of the Legal Association of Women and
Treasurer of the Student Bar Association.
